Are you ready to make an impact at one of London’s leading Further Education providers? Kapital City College is recruiting for a skilled Operations Manager - Food and Beverage Service to support and drive key operational functions, shaping the future of education in the heart of London.
About the Role
This role is full-time, permanent, based at Westminster.
The Operations Manager – Food and Beverage Service will provide strategic and operational leadership for the College’s commercial hospitality provision, including:
- Vincent Rooms
- Escoffier Restaurant
- Terrace
- Associated commercial spaces
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, industry-standard food and beverage operations.
- Ensure strong commercial performance, exceptional customer experience, and effective day-to-day management across all venues.
- Drive income generation, improve operational efficiency, and support the growth of commercial hospitality at the College.
- Collaborate with curriculum teams to ensure commercial activity aligns with teaching and learning while maintaining commercial delivery & industry standards.
- Line manage staff, supporting their professional development and contributing to departmental success.

About You
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service and is passionate about making a positive impact.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring consistency across the College.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and innovate.
- Experience in a hospitality or restaurant management role is desirable, but a proven track record in operations will be considered.
