Location: London (office-based, full-time, occasional work from home)
Reports to: Mike Robb, Co-CEO
Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover from August
Working pattern: Four days a week, Monday–Thursday (office-based), with the option for three days per week
About the Role
We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operational running of Boldspace during a maternity cover period. This role involves ownership of:
- Office operations
- Supplier management
- Events delivery
- Internal processes
- Onboarding
- Business administration
The aim is to ensure the business runs efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operational management, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of internal processes.
- Manage key suppliers and external service providers, including IT, facilities, office services, and operational partners.
- Oversee office management, maintaining a high-quality working environment and ensuring operational issues are resolved promptly.
- Plan and deliver internal company culture and client events, managing:
- Logistics
- Suppliers
- Budgets
- Timelines
- On-the-day execution
- Drive continuous improvement of operational processes, including enhancing efficiency, consistency, and service quality.
- Manage operational budgets and track expenditure across relevant business areas.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes with the Head of Talent, ensuring a seamless experience for employees.
- Support leadership with:
- Business administration
- Reporting
- Documentation
- Operational planning
- Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and operational best practices.
- Take a key role in organising:
- Company culture initiatives
- Social events
- Handle minor diary management for the CEO.

Who You Are
- Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- 3+ years’ experience in operations, office management, business support, or a related role.
- Preferred: Experience in a marketing agency environment.
- Experience managing:
- Suppliers
- Budgets
- Projects
- Cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and operational decision-making ability.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in professional interactions with:
- Employees
- Suppliers
- External stakeholders
- Comfortable taking ownership, driving initiatives, and operating in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in professional services, agencies, or high-growth businesses.
- Event management experience.
- Experience supporting senior leadership teams.
