LOCATION: MANOR WALKS Shopping Centre

SHIFT PATTERN

Monday to Friday (two Saturdays from 4 on Rota) 42 hours per week

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

ABM UK is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of security, cleanliness, hygiene, waste management, maintenance, landscaping, and other contractual tasks at our client's site. You will ensure that all operations are carried out efficiently and effectively, meeting client expectations and company policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the contract in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management are consistently achieved
  • Ensure security team are deployed in line with site rotas, communicating effectively and managing & recording any incidents occurring on site.
  • Complete budget forecasts and monthly reconciliations
  • Provide professional support to the business in service-related matters
  • Control staff rosters, payroll, and manning levels
  • Deliver excellent communication and motivation to the site-based team
  • Ensure compliance with quality performance measures and resolve any non-compliance issues

REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant experience in operations management
  • Proven track record in delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Experience in budget forecasting and controlling
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Good IT literacy
  • Health & Safety Certificate
  • Ability to communicate and engage effectively, with a wide range of stakeholders including clients, customers, staff, and other professionals.
  • IOSH Qualification or equivalent H&S qualification
  • Ability to compile clear and concise written reports.
  • Budget management skills.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage resources.
  • Leadership skills which will include the ability to effectively manage change.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills.
  • Good customer service skills
  • Experience in working in a shopping centre
