This leadership role is about transforming manufacturing from the ground up. You’ll:
- Own and optimise end-to-end operations—ensuring safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement while closely collaborating across disciplines (engineering, supply chain, quality, and commercial teams).

📌 Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing production teams
- Foster a high-trust culture focused on engagement and accountability
- Align staffing, training, and capability growth with operational goals
📌 Operational Excellence
- Oversee high-mix engineered product manufacturing daily
- Deliver on key metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, Cost)
- Balance production plans with capacity, materials, and customer demand
📌 Continuous Improvement
- Champion Novанта Growth System and lean principles to streamline workflows
- Eliminate waste, improve productivity, and enhance quality outcomes
- Use data-driven insights to identify and resolve operational gaps
📌 Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, supply chain, planning, and quality to remove operational silos
- Optimise end-to-end flow and problem-solving across the value chain
📌 Supply Chain & Risk Management
- Ensure material availability and optimise inventory for smooth delivery
- Identify and mitigate risks impacting timelines and supply chains
[Who You Are]
✅ Leadership with a track record:
- Minimum 7 years of operations/manufacturing leadership experience
- Proven success in high-mix or engineered product environments
✅ Operational expertise:
- Deep understanding of KPIs for Quality, Delivery, and Cost
- Experience applying lean, continuous improvement frameworks
