Operations Manager - Peripatetic

Operations Manager

Permanent, part time (18.75hpw)

Salary circa £44,000 [pro rata] plus 34 days leave (inc bank holidays and a me day), rising to 39 days

North West across Cumbria, providing flexible management cover, supporting teams and maintaining day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead housing and supported managers to deliver high quality, customer centred services.
  • Drive service improvement using data, insight, and strong operational grip.
  • Manage budgets and performance across a varied portfolio of homes and services.
  • Build trusted relationships with commissioners, partners, and internal teams.
  • Coach and develop colleagues to create confident, high performing teams.

You have

  • Strong experience managing housing, supported living, or customer services.
  • Led and developed managers and teams through change and challenge.
  • Confidence managing complex budgets and performance targets.
  • Solid knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and build relationships with ease.

The practical bits

  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5:30pm. Open to agreeing flexible working
  • Work Location: You'll work from home with some days in the office.
  • Requirements:
    • Enhanced with barring list DBS check (we pay)
    • Ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle insured for business purposes
