We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Operations Manager to join our National Highways Account – This role will be mobile across our sites from Birmingham down to Bristol (company car will be provided)

The standard hours of work are 37.5 Hours Per Week Monday – Friday

The salary is dependent on experience

Reports to the Account Manager on our National Highways TFM Contract, the Regional Operations Manager is responsible for managing operations and delivering revenue targets within the contract Midlands region (Birmingham to Bristol)

What You Will Do

  • As required, work with Account Manager to develop annual business objectives, plans and budgets.
  • Deliver revenue within agreed budgets.
  • Plan and manage the work schedule.
  • Drive compliance with Health and Safety and close call reporting.
  • Ensure teams have a consistent understanding of systems and processes.
  • Ensure that all team members operate according to One Amey principles.
  • Support and contribute to Continuous Improvement
  • Understand, anticipate and deliver client requirements, including monthly reporting.
  • Support and implement a culture of customer centricity.
  • Manage supplier relationships (outsourced/sub-contractor).
  • Manage direct reports.
  • Maintain high level of statutory compliance
  • Direct management of approximately 4 Team Leaders
  • Overall responsibility for 1 region, with overall headcount of approximately 60
  • Reports into the Account Manager
  • Responsible for a large geography
  • Typically responsible for revenue up to £5m

What You Will Bring

  • NEBOSH or IOSH Qualified
  • Holds a full UK Driving Licence
  • Educated to Degree level in Facilities Management or equivalent qualifications and experience – Desirable
  • Knowledge of the management and provision of Hard & Soft FM services for a multi‐site operation
  • Strong people manager with experience with meeting regularly senior clientele
  • Strong background in Health and Safety
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills for programming and managing works and services
  • Excellent IT skills, including the use of CAFM system (Concept Evolution) and Microsoft office
  • Good knowledge of statutory compliance requirements
