Retail Operations Manager (Contract / Remote / $40–$65/hour)
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Retail Operations Manager to work on a contract basis. The role involves overseeing day-to-day retail operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to align operational goals with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise retail store workflows, including:
- Inventory
- Staffing
- Customer service processes
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), such as:
- Sales
- Foot traffic
- Inventory turnover
- Develop and implement operational policies to enhance store performance and compliance
- Collaborate with regional managers to align store operations with broader business strategies
- Train and mentor staff on operational best practices and company standards

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail operations management or a related field
- Proficiency in retail management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Strong analytical skills to interpret:
- Sales data
- Operational metrics
- Ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced retail environment
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain coordination (preferred)
