Operations Manager – Responsive Repairs
Goodman Masson is delighted to be partnering with Local Space, an ambitious and values-driven housing association, to recruit an exceptional Operations Manager – Responsive Repairs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation making a genuine social impact by providing safe, high-quality homes for people experiencing homelessness across London and Essex.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Head of Asset Delivery, you'll take ownership of the operational delivery and continuous improvement of Local Space's responsive repairs service across a diverse housing portfolio.
You'll provide strategic leadership across:
- Responsive Repairs
- Voids
- Legal Disrepair & Insurance
- Healthy Homes
Leading a team of Contracts Surveyors and Asset Delivery Officers, you'll ensure services are efficient, compliant, customer-focused and deliver outstanding outcomes for residents.

We're keen to speak with experienced operational leaders from:
- Housing Associations
- Local Authorities
- ALMOs
- The wider Social Housing sector
You'll bring experience in:
- Responsive repairs and maintenance
- Contract management
- Service improvement and transformation
- Contractor performance management
- Legal disrepair and insurance oversight
- Budget management and performance reporting
- Leading high-performing operational teams
