Role Description
Within VIVO we are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager (Hard FM) to be based at Dale Barracks in Chester. As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the effective, compliant and timely delivery of maintenance and response works in accordance with statutory legislation and MoD Mandatory requirements, complying with all Health and Safety and Environmental standards and policies.
You will be responsible for ensuring that suitable qualified and experienced operatives are directed to relevant tasks and have the appropriate equipment to perform these tasks, monitor the Supply Chain service delivery to enable Key Performance Indicators are achieved, review Risk Assessments and ensure that all tasks are recorded against assets in the CAFM system and ensure that progress of works and documentation is recorded and completed.

Another important aspect of the role will be to ensure compliance with Legionella and Asbestos management plans, taking on the duties of Responsible Person where required, carry out inspections and audits and project manage various M&E tasks from inception to completion.
What You'll Need To Do The Role
To be successful in this role, we require you to hold HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, strong IT skills and multi site hard FM sub contractor management experience.
This role would suit someone working as a Hard FM Manager or works coordinator position from a reactive maintenance environment. Please only apply if you hold relevant M&E qualifications. Candidates without an M&E background will not be considered for this role.
To be considered for this role you must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to pass SC Clearance.
