About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day running of a busy, patient-focused healthcare service. This pivotal role ensures operational excellence, supports clinical professionals, and drives achieving commercial and performance targets.
You will:
- Lead and develop a high-performing administrative team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align services with business objectives, ensuring efficient, patient-centred operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimise office operations:
- Oversee seamless administrative support for both clinical teams and private practice activities.
Team development and management:
- Mentor, recruit, onboard, train, and manage performance of administrative staff.
- Monitor staff rotas and resource allocation for optimal service delivery.

Stakeholder and external relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community healthcare professionals, partner clinics, and hospitals.
Operational efficiency and performance:
- Drive operational efficiency and clinical service utilisation within budgets and targets.
- Ensure patient journeys are timed accurately for bookings, follow-ups, and service coordination.
- Handle referrals and enquiries professionally and promptly.
Compliance and quality assurance:
- Maintain GDPR compliance, accurate patient records, and high standards of documentation.
- Analyse patient feedback to improve service quality and satisfaction.
Supporting clinical and office operations:
- Assist in on-site clinical activities to ensure administrative processes run smoothly.
- Coordinate team meetings to foster engagement and performance.
- Oversee office maintenance, facilities, and hosting organisational events.
- Support onboarding of new clinical professionals and financial/billing processes.
- Utilise IT systems effectively to enhance operational outcomes.

About You
Essential Experience
- Proven healthcare (or service-rounded) operations or office management background.
- Track record of leading and developing teams, including performance reviews and coaching.
- Strong leadership, organisation, and attention to detail required.
- Excellent communication that crosses patient-advocacy, clinicians, and external stakeholders.
- Commercial acumen with target-driven performance management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and adaptable to new IT systems.
- Passionate about patient-centred care with a proactive, hands-on approach.
