Operations Manager
Operations & Events Manager – Central London (On-site, 5 days per week)
Location: Central London (On-site)
Our client is a fast-paced and growing recruitment agency at the heart of London, with a global reach. Their team is ambitious, energetic, and dedicated to delivering outstanding results for clients and candidates. They thrive on collaboration and high performance, with their Recruiters committed to making a positive impact in their communities. They run over 80+ events annually and are now seeking an organised and proactive Operations & Events Manager to maintain their growth and seamless operations.
The Role
As the Operations & Events Manager, you’ll ensure the smooth running of their growing recruitment office while coordinating internal and external events. This role drives efficiency across operations, technology, onboarding, and culture—ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment, thrives on variety, and can influence positive change across diverse stakeholders.

Office Management & Operations:
- Oversee daily business operations, including office administration, technology support, and supplier coordination
- Maintain overall efficiency to keep the busy office running smoothly

Events Coordination:
- Plan and execute event logistics—venue sourcing, budgeting, supplier management, travel arrangements, guest communications, and on-site delivery

Onboarding & UX:
- Assist with new starter onboarding, ensuring seamless access to equipment, systems, training, and welcome processes

Culture & Engagement:
- Support company culture initiatives, employee engagement, and well-being programmes
- Drive a positive, social office environment

Process Improvement:
- Continuously enhance internal systems and operational efficiencies across the business

Administrative & Strategic Support:
- Provide operational/administrative assistance to leadership
- Manage internal communications and office logistics

Budget & ROI Management:
- Track event costs and budgets to ensure financial efficiency and return on investment

Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in an operations/events role
- Strong preference: Experience in a sales-focused business, particularly within a recruitment agency
- Key skills & attributes:
- Exceptionally organised with a keen eye for detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in customer/client-facing roles
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines confidently
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge where necessary
- Positive, proactive problem-solving attitude
