About the Role
Location: Birmingham / West Midlands Salary: £60,000–£67,000 plus excellent benefits
Experienced Operations Manager required to lead large-scale frontline service teams across a busy, high-profile contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong operational leader who thrives in a fast-moving, people-focused role. You will be responsible for:
- Driving consistency
- Improving deployment
- Supporting frontline managers
- Ensuring essential services are delivered effectively across the region
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Operational Supervisors overseeing a large frontline workforce.
- Manage day-to-day operational delivery across all services.
- Make key judgement calls around priorities, scheduling, deployment, and reactive service demands.
- Drive consistency, performance, and accountability across a large unionised workforce.
- Support planning and improvement activity in a challenging, high-volume operational environment.

The Ideal Candidate:
Experience:
- Strong operations management/ contract management experience leading large frontline or field-based teams.
- Background in:
- Street-level operational environments
- Waste management
- Facilities management (FM)
- Environmental services
- Logistics
- Transport
- Military, or similar operational environments
