Role Description
The Operations & Delivery Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Aberdeen, with flexibility for remote working. Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will oversee the operational delivery of the company's technology, education, consultancy, and managed service activities.
The role will coordinate multidisciplinary teams delivering AI, digital transformation, knowledge management, data solutions, training programmes, and client support services. The Operations & Delivery Manager will ensure projects are delivered efficiently, resources are effectively managed, operational processes continue to improve, and clients receive exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will also support the development and delivery of educational initiatives, professional development programmes, and knowledge-sharing activities that strengthen organisational capability and promote innovation across client organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operational management of the business, ensuring efficient delivery of consultancy, technology, education, and managed services.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams delivering AI, data analytics, software, digital transformation, training, and knowledge management solutions.
- Support the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of professional education, workforce development, and digital skills programmes.
- Develop and improve operational processes, delivery frameworks, governance, and quality management systems.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, resource utilisation, and operational KPIs.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, educational partners, suppliers, funding organisations, and other stakeholders.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, funding applications, partnership development, and client presentations.
- Promote innovation, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional development across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, quality, information governance, and data protection requirements.
- Mentor and develop staff, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing organisational culture.
Qualifications Essential
- Proven experience in operations, project delivery, or service management within technology, education, consultancy, or professional services.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across technical, operational, and educational environments.
- Strong organisational, planning, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and operational priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication skills with experience engaging clients, partners, and senior stakeholders.
- Experience using project management, CRM, reporting, and collaboration platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Education, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Desirable
- Experience delivering AI, digital transformation, knowledge management, or data-driven projects.
- Experience working with education providers, universities, colleges, training organisations, or skills development programmes.
- Knowledge of learning technologies, workforce development, or digital capability frameworks.
- Professional certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, ITIL, or equivalent, desirable.
- Experience working with publicly funded innovation, research, or education projects.
- Understanding of quality assurance, HR, Student management, information governance, event management, and Digital Marketing
- UK driving License
