About The Role
We are seeking a Security Operations Manager who will play a pivotal role within our management team, overseeing security operations across the Southern Region of the UK. The Security Operations Manager will provide strategic leadership and direction, ensuring the delivery of high-quality security services while maintaining the highest standards of operational performance, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
The role is responsible for managing regional security teams, workforce planning, contract delivery, and resource allocation, while driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing company policies. The successful candidate will ensure rigorous adherence to quality, health and safety, and security industry standards, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and operational excellence across all sites and services.

Job Description
- Oversee daily management of employees, addressing employee engagement and relations issues in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Effectively mobilise new security contracts, ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed.
- Provide coverage for sickness, holidays, and emergency/ad-hoc situations as needed.
- Manage a growing portfolio of client sites, ensuring high standards of service.
- Compile and review Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments for both new and existing sites.
- Conduct employment reviews to ensure staff performance and development.
- Recruit, interview, train, and coach new staff members.
- Perform site visits, incident reports, and staff welfare checks regularly.
- Liaise closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless operations.
- Promote, maintain, and comply with Health and Safety legislation.
- Complete site key audits and promptly resolve any issues that arise.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage team collaboration.
- Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Essential Skills
- Valid SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)
- People management skills
- Strong operational experience gained in a multi-site or area management role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work out of office hours
- Full UK driving licence
- Have a 5-year verifiable work history
