About Mark+Fold

Mark+Fold is a modern British stationery brand, founded in 2015 to raise the bar on quality and sustainability. We design and manufacture our own stationery products, working closely with specialist suppliers in the UK and Europe.

Our customers are connoisseurs who appreciate our attention to detail and value the friendly, efficient service we provide. Our mission is to help them get in the zone, so they can make great things happen.

Why this role is important to Mark+Fold

This is an opportunity to join the team during an exciting period of growth, to help build on the systems we have in place and adapt them as we grow. As Operations and Merchandising Manager, you will ensure that the day-to-day running of the business is smooth and organised, from managing inventory and website listings, to looking after customers and ensuring a seamless service with our fulfilment team. You will play a crucial role in our commercial growth, developing merchandising initiatives that balance sales performance with brand integrity.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in operations, merchandising or ecommerce, looking for a challenging role with lots of independence, and a chance to have a big impact in growing an inspiring design and values-led brand.

Once here, you will

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across inventory, fulfilment, customer experience, and cashflow.
  • Own inventory management, forecasting, and replenishment planning, to ensure strong stock availability while minimising excess inventory and working capital exposure.
  • Take a lead on merchandising plans that balance commercial performance with brand integrity. Analyse sales and product performance to inform buying, range planning, and pricing decisions.
  • Manage the e-commerce platform, ensuring listings are accurate and optimised for performance (conversion, AOV, retention).
  • Manage relationships with customers and fulfilment team, ensuring any issues are resolved efficiently, whilst building systems to simplify and streamline this process as we grow.
  • Work with the Founder to manage cashflow, forecasting, and growth initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
