Frontline Church
Frontline is a diverse and welcoming church, based south-east of Liverpool city centre. We are a community of wholehearted disciples who long to see Liverpool transformed by the hope and love of Jesus. We see ourselves as imperfect people, empowered by the Holy Spirit, passionately following Jesus together.
Our vision is to see wholehearted disciples, sharing the hope of Jesus on their frontlines in Liverpool and beyond; a vibrant church body, with diverse places of belonging, support, growth, and purpose; and healthy, reproducing churches, seeking to build God’s kingdom in creative ways.
We live out this vision through shared values of being passionate about knowing God deeply, living as one body with many parts, sent out to build God’s kingdom.
About The Role
Frontline has recently come through a season of internal change, including the appointment of new Lead Pastors in Spring 2024. As we look to the future, we are excited to strengthen our staff team and day-to-day operations through the appointment of an Operations Pastor.
The Operations Pastor will provide leadership of the staff team and oversight of the operational systems that enable the life, ministry, and strategic growth of the church.
This role is both strategic and practical, combining leadership responsibility with hands-on involvement, including practical oversight of our building. We are a small, collaborative, and versatile staff team, and this role will work closely across multiple areas of church life. As a senior role, the Operations Pastor will also carry a pastoral and church leadership dimension. We are keen to adapt the shape of the role to suit the ministry gifts of the right candidate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
