About Us
We’re building the future of sport. Bolt6 is a sports technology company at the forefront of visual innovation – from real-time tracking and data overlays, to immersive broadcast graphics and AR experiences. We work across tennis, golf, motorsport, volleyball, and more; partnering with rights holders and broadcasters to elevate how sport is seen, understood, and enjoyed.
What You'll Do
As Bolt6 continues to grow across new sports and technologies, we need someone obsessed with operational excellence.
This isn't a traditional training role. You'll be responsible for continually raising the bar across our operations team - delivering training on our ever-evolving tech, identifying performance gaps before they become problems, and creating a culture where every operator is constantly improving themselves and the wider organisation.
At a minimum you need to either be or have been an extremely strong operations engineer, with a deep understanding of how our systems work behind the scenes. You'll have the credibility to coach experienced operators, challenge existing ways of working, and introduce new standards that improve quality, consistency and confidence across every sport we deliver.
- Own operational performance. Continuously assess the capability of our operations teams, identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives that raise performance across every sport.
- Design and deliver training. Build engaging onboarding, technical and advanced training programmes, from classroom sessions and documentation through to practical simulations and competitive training events.
- Prepare teams for the future. Lead readiness programmes for new sports, products and workflows, ensuring operators are fully trained and confident before launch.
- Coach and develop operators. Work alongside engineers during live events, provide constructive feedback and create personalised development plans that help individuals reach their potential.
- Drive continuous improvement. Analyse operational incidents, recurring issues and performance trends to identify opportunities for better processes, automation and training.
- Champion high standards. Build a culture where preparation, accountability and continual learning are expected, recognised and celebrated.
- Recruitment Strategy. Implement a recruitment strategy taking into account the future pipeline and current workforce capability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
