Join the Close Brothers Motor Finance Team where you will lead a high performing operational function within our Doncaster new business service centre.
Working as part of the New Business Operations team our ideal team member will have previous experience in delivering service levels, increasing revenue in every product area and building excellent working relationships with excellent planning and organisational skills.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing Underwriters and Seniors within the New business service center.
- Taking responsibility to drive the operational site performance.
- Managing the Partner Support function within your designated
- Creating, implementing, and managing action plans between Account Managers and partner Support Executives.
- Recruit high calibre employees, in support for you Recruitment Business Partner, within budget, headcount levels and temporary resource requirements.
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
- Deliver Role induction and technical training and coaching to new joiners, reviewing performance during training periods and providing development feedback.
- Working closely with the Risk and Compliance teams to implement best practice and mitigate risk through 1st line oversight and implementing appropriate actions.

Developing Our People
As a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.
Requirements
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
- A demonstrable track record in delivering excellent service delivery.
- The ability to build, develop and lead high performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Worked within regulation with key knowledge of FCA requirements in areas such compliance, risk, and credit.
- An understanding of Service Excellence aligned with Commercial Acumen.
- The ability to analyse and interpret MI at a strategic level.
- An ability to write detailed, structured strategic plans and reports.
- The ability to drive performance/process improvement.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:
- Demonstrable experience of underwriting Motor Finance applications and holding a set mandate.
