About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Local Security Expert to join AXA’s security team. This role is pivotal in supporting the company’s cybersecurity initiatives at the local level, working closely with the Local Operations Security team to ensure the integrity and security of AXA’s information systems. The ideal candidate will assist in daily security operations, contribute to the implementation of security measures across various cyber defense products, and support the ongoing effort to maintain high security standards within the organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in cybersecurity, gain practical experience, and contribute to a secure digital environment for AXA’s global operations.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a foundational understanding of information security principles and a keen interest in cybersecurity. A degree in computer science, information security, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. Candidates should demonstrate eagerness to learn about security standards such as ISO/IEC 27017, CISSP, CEH, or similar certifications. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a team-oriented mindset are essential. Fluency in English is required, and familiarity with security tools and practices will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Local Security Expert include:
- Assist in operating and maintaining vulnerability management scanning tools to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Support the team in identifying vulnerabilities, tracking remediation actions, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Help evaluate security threats, risks, and vulnerabilities by following established procedures and best practices.
- Provide support in advising on vulnerability remediation strategies and security hardening measures to strengthen system defenses.
- Assist in defining and implementing system security standards in alignment with organizational policies.
- Conduct password strength checks and contribute to security assessments for various projects and applications.
- Communicate security policies, procedures, and best practices clearly to team members and relevant stakeholders.
- Support documentation efforts and generate reports related to security activities to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
