Senior Support Worker – Residential Service (Rotherslade, SA3 4QW) – Full-time
Job Location & Employment Details
- Location: Rotherslade, SA3 4QW
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Base Salary: Up to £14.05 per hour
- Essentials:
- Must have the ability to drive (valid Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this post).
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Qualification: QCF Level 3 qualified (or working towards if not already qualified)
- Experience: At least 1 year in care (INHDP, if applicable)
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Senior Support Worker will:

- Help lead the staff team, ensuring best practice and effective delivery of care.
- Provide person-centred care, advocating for those supported.
- Supervise and support staff across a wide range of duties.
- Ensure high standards of care for vulnerable individuals with:
- Mental health needs
- Autism
- Learning disabilities
- Work independently, sometimes taking sole responsibility for a service or shift area.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills at all levels.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
