Risk, Issue & Quality Management

• Identify and manage technical and delivery risks, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating issues where required.
• Ensure appropriate governance, change control, and assurance processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee testing activities, including system testing and User Acceptance Testing, ensuring solutions meet agreed functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure quality standards are met prior to go-live, supporting stable and controlled deployment.

Data, Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee data migration and transformation activities, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
• Work with technical specialists to support reporting requirements across membership, learning, and operational platforms.
• Ensure data-related risks are identified and addressed as part of delivery planning and assurance.

Adoption, Training & Continuous Improvement

• Support the development of training materials, guidance, and documentation to enable effective adoption of new systems and processes.
• Work with operational teams to ensure readiness for go-live and effective transition into business-as-usual support.
• Identify opportunities to optimise workflows and processes through technology-enabled improvements.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of technical delivery practices across the Institute.

Key Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably in the education, professional membership, or training sectors.
• Successful management of large and small Technology projects within an improvement programme.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and CRM implementations.
• Experience with market-leading LMS solutions, including features like assessments, CPD tracking, revision modules, and student/member record management.
• Strong understanding of data management, migration, and integration techniques.
• Exceptional project management skills, including experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving acumen.
• Experience using MS Planner, MS Project and MS Roadmap, Trello, JIRA etc.
• Experience with budget management, resource planning, and vendor coordination.
• Strong monitoring, reporting and quality assurance skills.
• Knowledge of reporting tools and dashboards (Power BI, SQL, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of programme management and project lifecycle steps.

Desirable Qualifications

• Certification in Project Management (Agile PM, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Microsoft Certifications related to Dynamics 365 or Business Central.
• Experience working with APIs and system integrations.
• Understanding of student lifecycle management and member engagement strategies.
• Understanding of detractors and soft skills to steer positive outcomes.
