Job Role: Operations Specialist
Location: UK - Remote
Salary: £27,000

Job Type: Full time, permanent
Reporting to: UK Operations Manager
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri) - Additional voluntary weekend overtime

Driiveme has been in the UK since 2018 and continues to be a fast-growing industry leader. Driiveme UK has a network of in excess of 4,000 driver partners who can complete work throughout the UK. Driiveme UK works with car selling platforms, leasing providers, dealers, manufacturers and many more types of customers, completing A to B movements, customer collections and deliveries. This could be for any vehicle from a Citroen 2CV to a Bentley and anything in between!

Driiveme also allows members of the public to book £1 one-way car or van rentals by moving vehicles for car rental companies, who need to carry out the same movements inexpensively. It's a win-win.

Boasting a 99% fulfilment rate and guaranteeing vehicle movements with a 3 working day lead time, Driiveme ensures that we can locate a driver for any vehicle, anywhere in the UK.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Specialist to join our team.

Working directly with the UK Head of Operations and assisting the rest of the UK team with operations tasks as required, the role is to be the first point of contact with our Driver Partners, assisting and advising them regarding any issues that they encounter whilst completing a movement on behalf of Driiveme. Whether it be a broken down vehicle, public transport issues or an incident on the road. You will be happy to help and advise. You will also deal with customers as front line response.

The role of Operations Specialist would suit someone who is highly motivated, well organised and a friendly team player with exceptional attention to detail. This role is fully remote and you must already have a suitable area to work.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaising with Driver Partners directly, assisting and advising on any issues as they arise
  • General administrative tasks that assist the wider operations of the business
  • Data entry, using Microsoft, Google and other software
  • Handling emails, phone calls and messages from our customers, drivers and users
  • Amending vehicle movement requests as necessary
  • Relaying important information to drivers to ensure they can complete their work efficiently
  • Monitoring and updating both internal and external platforms in a timely manner
  • Supporting the Head of Operations and the wider business as required
  • Daily and ad-hoc tasks
  • Any other reasonable task as set by management

Key Requisites

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English and familiarity with British working culture
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • High degree of motivation and ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work with remote teams in a multinational environment
  • Automotive industry and/or logistics industry experience is an advantage but not a requirement as full training will be given
  • Home environment suited to remote working with a permanent setup

Education and Experience

  • GCSE or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-year operational support experience (Preferred)
