Operations Supervisor - Sloane Street
Ulla Johnson is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Sloane Street location in London. This role oversees all back-of-house activity in the store, ensuring it meets company standards. The Operations Supervisor is directly responsible for stockroom organization and for training and coaching the team on back-of-house procedures, and will also play a key role in executing new company operational initiatives.
Key Objectives
- Responsible for all stock processes in store including but not limited to: warehouse receiving, transfers, discrepancy reporting, BOH stock standards, adjustments reporting, cycle counts, and physical inventory
- Oversee daily omnichannel fulfillment processes and inventory availability, ensuring the optimal client experience
- Owner of BOH organization and supplies management
Stock Responsibilities
- Processing all incoming transfers with a high degree of detail and urgency, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely reporting of any receiving discrepancies
- Partnering closely with Director of Global Operations on all components of allocation, inventory accuracy, and operational processes
- Proactively communicating low stock of best-seller styles and assisting with client reserves with team and management
- Planning and leading annual inventory and maintaining inventory integrity with activities including but not limited to monthly cycle counts, style swaps, department cycle counts, SKU inspection reports, etc.
- Overseeing and confirming all incoming and outgoing packages including BOH organization and tracking communication to sales team for clients
- Executing consolidations, store to store transfers, and returns to warehouse expediently with high degree of accuracy, including returns to warehouse or transfer requests to other locations
- Pulling received new receipts for VM display
- Reporting any needed store inventory stock adjustments including damages, shoplifting, or corporate requests to the Director of Global Operations in a timely manner

Omnichannel Process Responsibilities
- Always ensuring the highest degree of accuracy for product availability to offer the best client experience
- Participating in and executing new omnichannel initiatives including new service rollouts or process changes
- Ensuring the organization of all omni-process areas are always organized and stocked with any required supplies
- Ensuring all store team members are trained in any omni-fulfilment process requiring store intervention
BOH Organizational and Supplies Management Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain clear and labeled BOH areas including but not limited to live inventory, client-owned goods, inbound/outbound packages, damages, repairs, dry-cleaning, and holds
- Maintain repair log and partner closely with relevant Corporate teams as needed to ensure customer and in-store repairs are handled in a timely manner
- Ensure stockroom organization to maximize the store productivity, ease of sale, and minimize damage to product due to improper storage/handling
- Maintain and control all store supplies and packaging to ensure the location is never out or overstocked in necessary office, selling, and cleaning supplies
Team Supervisor Responsibilities
- Participate in and occasionally lead daily store meetings related to standards or policy/process updates or general compliance
- Support floor coverage when necessary, ensuring the highest level of client service
- In collaboration with the store manager and as a key holder, be responsible for supporting the selling team, ensuring efficient and fast replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor and shortening the waiting time of clients
- Be competent in cash procedures and provide support in opening/closing of the store as a key holder
- Maintain loss prevention standards through awareness and adherence to store policies and maintain Loss Prevention Log
Experience
- 1-3 years of stock and/or operations experience
- Experience managing a support team (1-3 people)
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledgeable on operational standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to navigate Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time & attendance record
- Flexible and adaptable
