Operations Supervisor
Logistics Team Lead – Supply Chain Operations (FTC, 6-9 Months)
Location: Wellingborough Salary: £35,090.16 Hours: 13:45–22:15

As a Team Lead (FTC, 6-9 months), you’ll oversee operations to ensure seamless efficiency in a high-performance team environment. Your role is dynamic, hands-on, and pivotal in maintaining logistics excellence and compliance with service-level agreements.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your key responsibility is to coordinate teams, streamline workflows, and troubleshoot issues while empowering employees to deliver outstanding performance.
Key Responsibilities

| Distribute workloads, optimise team efficiency | Act as the primary contact for process/technical issues |
| Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of daily operational tasks | Initiate corrective actions for process problems |
| Execute resource planning (staff & infrastructure) | Work within SAP systems |
| Associate with the Quality & Service Levels team |

Essential Requirements
✔ Experience with computerised systems (e.g., enterprise logistics software) ✔ Familiarity with temperature-controlled environments (advantageous) ✔ Strong time management, organisation, and reliability ✔ Proficient numerical and record-keeping skills ✔ High attention to detail and process adherence ✔ Proven ability to investigate issues and implement solutions ✔ Exceptional customer focus and communication (written/verbal)
