Role and Responsibilities

Location: Wellingborough Salary: £35,090.16 Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm Fixed Term contract – 6 to 9 months

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee and coordinate team activities to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the operation:

  • Leading and managing a team to achieve and exceed SLAs
  • Distributing work orders and ensuring fair workload distribution among employees
  • Steering, coordinating, and implementing processes, as well as planning daily business activities
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all process and technical faults, and forwarding reports to the relevant departments
  • Identifying issues or problems and initiating corrective measures and monitoring success
  • Ensuring SLA compliance
  • Working in the SAP system
  • Participating in resource planning (staff and infrastructure)
  • Creating and evaluating reports
  • Ensuring the quality and service level specifications
  • Undertaking people management activities (optionally) (Note: The extent of people management activities will depend on team size and operational needs.)

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience of working with computerised systems
  • Experience and understanding of working in a temperature-controlled environment (advantageous)
  • Demonstrated reliability, time management, and organisation skills
  • Strong written, verbal communication
  • Good numerical skills and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to take ownership of an issue and see it through professionally, from start to finish
  • Customer-focused mindset
