Operations Supervisor
Team Leader – Logistics/Operations

Job Overview
A fixed-term contract (6–9 months) position reporting to the Operations Manager in Wellingborough. This role involves overseeing and coordinating team activities, ensuring smooth operations, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and managing people effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Operations
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team to exceed SLAs and operational excellence
- Distribute work orders efficiently and balance team member workloads
- Steuer and coordinate processes, implementing daily business plans
- Act as the first point of contact for technical falts, escalating issues to relevant departments
- Identify problems, implement corrective actions, and track success

Operational Efficiency & Compliance
- Ensure SLA compliance, quality control, and service standards
- Work proficiently in the SAP system for workflow management
- Participate in resource planning for staff/infrastructure
- Generate and evaluate performance reports
- Monitor workloads and risk mitigation in the logistics environment
People Management
- Engage with and lead a team, fostering collaboration and development
- Support employee productivity and morale
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience with computerised waste management/handling systems (* parish with a controlled temperature environment** preferred')
- Reliability, time management, and organisation skills essential
- Good written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and filing/record-keeping accuracy
- Ability to own and resolve workplace issues from start to finish
- Customer-focused mindset and problem-solving approach
