Operations Supervisor, Quick Commerce

Operations Lead/Supervisor – Quick Commerce (Full-time, 32 hrs per week)

Location: South Ruislip

About the Role

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of Amazon’s Quick Commerce (QC) operations, helping deliver ultra-fast convenience by processing and dispatching customer orders in 30 minutes or less. As an Operations Lead/Supervisor, you’ll ensure smooth, efficient, and safe workflows across our warehouse sites and last-mile delivery network.

This hands-on position gives you ownership of day-to-day operations, the chance to train team members, and the opportunity to drive process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor & Optimise Workflows:

    • Measure and track onsite performance while ensuring operational excellence across shifts
    • Provide shift analytics and key performance metrics to frontline management
    • Use data analysis to identify ways to boost safety, quality, and productivity
  • Support & Lead Teams:

    • Train and supervise employees in daily tasks, ensuring high standards of service
    • Lead pre-shift meetings, reinforcing safety protocols and performance expectations
    • Collaborate with Shift/Area Managers on fordcasting and scheduling to cover peak times

  • Drive Continuous Improvement:
    • Assist with projects to streamline processes, enhance workplace safety, and improve workforce engagement
    • Work cross-departmentally to resolve operational challenges or enhance customer and delivery performance

A Day in the Life

  • Lead your team in pre-shift coordination, ensuring all staff are aligned with goals for the day
  • Oversee adherence to safety, quality, and delivery standards—escalating issues as needed
  • Contribute to shift planning and staff scheduling to optimise operational output
  • Step into senior roles when needed to guide staff through critical tasks

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting
  • Confidence in data interpretation and analytics for operational decision-making
  • Advanced English language skills (spoken and written, aligned with C1 CEFR standard)
