Position – Operations Manager - Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
£60k base salary 37hrs + £5k bonus + company car (no weekend rota) + up to 11% pension contribution.

Large National M&E service provider focused on refrigeration, air conditioning and HVAC, with Regional Branches across the UK
Location
Milton Keynes and Northampton Branches (you must be located in a good commutable distance)
Industry
Commercial HVAC / Air conditioning / AC A/C / Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, VRV / VRF, Chillers, Heat Pumps, Refrigeration Circuits, Refrigerated Circuits, Refrigerant Circuits, Refrigeration Cycle Troubleshooting.
Desired Experience
- Senior level refrigeration and air conditioning service engineer.
- Level 3 Refrigeration and Air conditioning, FGAS 2079 and hydrocarbons would be an advantage along with Small Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
The Role
A leading national mechanical engineering service provider seeks an Operations Supervisor to run their main service branches in Milton Keynes and Northampton along with regional Refrigeration Air Conditioning Service Engineers. You will manage the teams giving a higher level of technical oversight on the most complex issues as they arise on site.
Experience Required
- Extensive previous hands-on experience servicing and troubleshooting HVAC systems, in particular refrigeration circuits.
- Ideally highly capable at fault find and fix.
- F-Gas 2079 CAT 1, hydrocarbons, refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications / certifications ideally Level 2 or Level 3 and manufacturer training would be an advantage e.g. VRV / VRF servicing and fault finding.
- Experience using a Manufacturer Software Maintenance Tool.
- Great teamwork and communication skills are also important both from a client facing perspective and internal regional team cooperation to service contracts and resolve fault find and fix refrigeration and air conditioning breakdowns both quickly and effectively.

The Company
This is a long-established company that prides itself on having excellent company morale and career development. The company is one of the largest M&E service providers nationally and due to the expansion of the companies 2 main midlands Branches they are looking to add an Operations Supervisor who can be a Senior Refrigeration Engineer, Senior Refrigeration Technician or Refrigeration Supervisor level. Their Refrigeration AC service engineers all have extensive and advanced knowledge on servicing HVAC systems from the top air conditioning manufacturers and their Regional Operations Supervisors as well as being excellent managers, are highly skilled at advanced fault finding and fixing on refrigerant circuits themselves.
The Package
- Base salary of £50,000 up to £60,000 37hrs per week
- £5k bonus broken down into quarterly payments
- No weekend shift rota
- A company car, or van or allowance
- Up to 11% pension contribution, private healthcare and dental
- Up to 27 days holiday + bank holidays
