Operations Supervisor
We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is actively looking to onboard an experienced Operations Supervisor.
Overview
To ensure all services provided are delivered in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Management of all offshore personnel working on the contract, including performance management and technical support.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all departments are working together to ensure equipment is delivered on time
- Management of all offshore personnel working on the contract, including performance management and supervision, including pre-job and post-job briefings and operational support during field operations
- Periodic offshore attendance for purposes of audit, supervision, checking of standards and ensuring all offshore personnel are fully competent.
- Occasionally provide “Last Man Out” cover for offshore operations when required in an emergency
- Coordinate requisitions for spare parts and consumables, and ensure that all items are available as and when required for the work
- Work closely with internal departments to identify workloads and set priorities within the workshop in conjunction with the Operations manager
- Ensure all personnel have the correct training and levels of competence, including support to develop through the technical competency framework.
- Develop client relationships
- Work with the Ops Manager to prepare and review Hydraulic Calculations, BHA designs, and Load Requests for upcoming operations.
- Review and audit post-job reports and assist in preparing case histories and post-job traceability.
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational improvement and cost effectiveness
- Ensure databases are populated with the correct information
- Work closely with the QHSE department to ensure policies and procedures are up to date and adhered to.
- Drive continuous improvement in operations
- Identify and propose rental asset investment to enable growth of company owned rentals assets revenue stream
- Ensure timely close out of on/offshore tickets to enable efficient invoicing and cash collection
- Identify upsell/cross sell opportunities for additional products and services within set clients
- Ensure a proactive company culture of efficiency, effectiveness and accountability across areas of responsibility
- Provide cover for Operations Manager - TT when required
- Feedstock of operations case studies to promote capabilities to marketing
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- To carry out other duties as required.

Knowledge and Experience

- Minimum of 10 years relevant industrial offshore experience
- Technical knowledge and fully competent as a Senior Thru Tubing Supervisor or Senior Coil Supervisor with Thru Tubing Tool Technician Experience
- Current offshore medicals and certificates in place
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Good team player with sound interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of Well Services Activities
- Good understanding of the Well Intervention business
- Good understanding of IT systems
