Roles and Responsibilities:
- To produce engine components through numerous special process functions controlled by the OEM (Overhaul Engine Manual) & SPM (Standard Practices Manual)
- To Deliver a Quality Product on time to internal and external customers
- To ensure production flow is maintained at all times
- To work in accordance with the company's quality procedure: European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-145 Requirements
- To follow strict EHS guidelines in all aspects of shop floor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- To liaise with internal departments to ensure effective processes are used in a timely manner which supports their operations
- Willingness to operate collaboratively with all departments in a shop floor teaming environment
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Effective communication skills
- Good team player with flexible approach and effective interpersonal skills
- A responsible/self-motivated person, willing to make decisions
- Computer literacy skills, ideally with experience of Windows-based packages
Desired Characteristics:
- Previous experience in Aircraft Engine industry, Cleaning Bay environment would be advantageous
- Experience in Large Scale Production Environment
- Flexibility for potential night shift cover
- Knowledge of Chemical Cleaning Processes and abrasive Blast Process techniques
