Operations Team Leader

We’re looking for an Operations Team Leader to join our operation and play a key role in driving performance, efficiency, and safety.
Role: Operations Team LeaderShifts: Sat - Monday 6am 6pm Location: Thrapston What will you be doing? As Operations Team Leader, you’ll oversee a section of our warehouse, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the management team in achieving business targets. You’ll lead a team of operatives, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. Your responsibilities will include: • Managing and motivating your team to meet KPIs and deadlines.• Training new operatives and supporting ongoing development.• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock movement records.• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and fostering a culture of safe working.• Producing reports, assisting with stock takes, and planning future capacity needs.• Acting as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and transport partners, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery. About You• Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.• Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.• Possess a proactive approach, confident in decision making• Good IT knowledge, including spreadsheets and warehouse systems.• A solid understanding of health and safety requirements.• A forklift licence and knowledge of lean techniques would be an advantage.
