Team Leader – Operations Division
As KBS Corporate, the UK’s leading business sales adviser, continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated, commercially driven and ambitious Team Leader within our Operations Division.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, performance and delivering results. You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team that consistently delivers exceptional client service, achieves ambitious targets and plays a key role in progressing deals to completion.
We are looking for an inspirational leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads from the front and enjoys coaching others to succeed. Someone who challenges and continually looks for ways to improve processes and performance.
This role offers a hybrid working pattern, split between office and home working. (TBC)
Key Responsibilities
People & Performance Management
- Lead, coach and develop, creating a highly engaged and motivated team.
- Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and coaching sessions to support development and career progression.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs and behavioural expectations.
- Drive individual and team performance, ensuring KPIs, service standards and commercial targets are consistently achieved.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning and high performance.

Team Development & Culture
- Build a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Support the onboarding and development of new team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance individual and team capability.
- Act as the first point of escalation for operational challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies and improving processes.
Operational Leadership
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to effectively support live transactions and deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Allocate workload across the team to balance capacity and maintain service levels.
- Monitor KPIs and operational performance, using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support departmental projects and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and quality standards.
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience leading, or coaching people, ideally within a sales support, operational, or professional services environment is preferred.
- Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop others.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in managing performance conversations.
- Experienced in coaching individuals to achieve objectives and improve performance.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable analysing performance data and using insights to drive improvements.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for developing people.
- The ability to build strong relationships across departments and influence stakeholders.
