📍 Location: Swindon (100% onsite) 🕒 Shift Pattern: 2 days, 2 nights (12-hour shifts) – 4 days off

About the Role
You are a people-focused leader with experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments. We seek dynamic individuals to drive safety, quality, and performance in a regulated environment. You will inspire a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and team development through strong mentorship and coaching.
In this role, you will:
- Lead production in a designated process area, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high-quality pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Deliver safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership
- Leadership of an operations shift team to achieve safe and compliant production.
- Ensure smooth execution and full staffing of critical processes.
- Optimise team performance within a dynamic environment.
Health & Safety
- Champion and uphold site Health & Safety standards.
- Conduct investigations and maintain up-to-date risk assessments.
Quality & Compliance
- Drive GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance and maintain an "Always Audit Ready" culture.
- Ensure batch records are completed accurately and on time.

Continuous Improvement
- Lead deviation investigations (RCA, 5 Whys) and implement preventative actions.
- Reduce waste, enhance process efficiency, and improve equipment reliability.
People Leadership
- Coach and develop a team of up to 15 employees, fostering motivation and progression.
- Manage performance, attendance, and communication to aligned with business goals.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in leading operational teams within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar regulated environments.
- A problem-solving mindset and ability to lead structured root-cause analyses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with experience in JD Edwards or Trackwise desirable.
- A positive, energetic approach with strong communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving setting.
- Passion for developing people and driving performance excellence.
