Operations Production Operator
Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
Purpose of the Position / Role Summary
Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, the Irish Operator takes proactive responsibility for manufacturing and packing operations for food products while ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Key Responsibilities
Production Execution
- Complete full manufacture and filling of all batches in line with batch cards and the production schedule.
- Adhere strictly to:
- Filling/batching/packing instructions
- Written departmental procedures
- Packing specifications
- Production schedules
- Ensures all packaging codes align with the correct packing specifications.
- Conducts start-up line checks to confirm:
- All overprint is clear and legible
- Containers are clean
- Completes line clearance and setup as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Performs in-process checks at specified intervals to assure batch conformity.
- Verifies label inserts are correctly placed in containers before leaving the line unattended.
- Follows packing instructions, specifications, and schedules strictly.
- Conducts and documents line checks every 15–20 minutes to verify:
- Print clarity and legibility
- Container cleanliness

Compliance & Record Keeper
- Demonstrates rigorous cGMP adherence, ensuring compliance with Data Integrity and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/GDP).
- Signs, initials, and dates all records only for completed tasks.
- Maintains daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules as assigned, updating check sheets and records where applicable.
Note: The role is not exhaustive and may expand to include additional commensurate duties as needed.

Other Requirements
Essential
- 6+ months’ experience in pharmaceutical-related manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Strong English proficiency (spoken and written) for operational communication.
- Understanding of compliance and production principles, including quality assurance.
- Multi-tasking & prioritisation capabilities to balance demands efficiently.
- Self-motivation with enthusiasm to own and develop this operational role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong internal & external relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
Desirable
- Previous experience with Contract Inspection (CI) processes.
