Business Unit: 5350 - NH South West
Location: Bristol
Summary
To carry out general maintenance works and operations, working with a Chargehand, undertaking a wide range of routine and cyclical works. To respond to emergencies and call outs during or out of hours on rotas as required and assist with winter maintenance activities as a second man or driver’s mate. Includes apprentices who have fully completed training
Desirable Skills
Banksman Manual Handling Abrasive Wheels Emergency First Aid Safe Dig Current Driving License CSCS card if client requirement Minimum level of every day behaviour as set out in the company behaviours matrix
Specialist Skills
To have and be able to apply a wide range of generalist skills To understand risk assessments and to assess according to safe systems of work To be able to understand and carry out work as set out in a specification Generally hold 12 months+ experience Potential & interest in obtaining LGV licence Undertaken training on: General health & safety awareness / Risk assessment awareness / Traffic Management / Use of PDA as required Ability to use small plant and equipment Ability to operate mini excavator
