Business Unit: 5079 - NH East
Location: Bishops Stortford
Summary
To carry out a wide range of routine or cyclical works and operations. Deputise for Chargehand as and when required. Able to run a 2 person crew on specific jobs and ensure work is carried out to specification. Manage safety of the team and complete all necessary reporting, paper or electronic. Where required, to respond to emergencies and call outs during or out of hours, and assist with winter maintenance.
Desirable Skills
Banksman Manual Handling Abrasive Wheels Emergency First Aid Safe Dig Current Driving License preferred CSCS card if client requirement Minimum level of everyday behaviour as set out in the company behaviours matrix. NRSWA Relevant TM 12D HGV Licence
Specialist Skills
All skills and experience for Basic Skill level PLUS: Able to carry out basic safety, quality and environmental audits and risk assessment Able to understand and carry out work as set out in a specification Able to take responsibility for traffic management. Generally hold 18 months+ experience NVQ2 LGV licence NRSWA if required Use a range of power tools and equipment Use of PDA as required Able to give clear basic instructions OR specialist skills in one of the following: Specialist driving / gully emptying / LGV Winter / VRS (basic) / TM 12 a, b, c or d / Dealing with the public / NVQ2 Winter - 6159
