Operator – Manufacturing & Assembly

Key Responsibilities

Production & Assembly

  • Manufacturing, assembly, and testing of hoses
  • Operating all related equipment and machines
  • Production of raw materials (pre-production)
  • Performing any other duties as required by your supervisor
  • Strict adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and working practices

Quality Assurance

  • Complying with ISO 9001 & API Q1 standards, ensuring:
    • All works data is sufficiently recorded and updated
    • All work procedures are kept and adhered to
  • Ensuring all manufactured products meet agreed specifications/acceptance standards
  • Reporting product and process-related Non-Conformities

Safety & Compliance

  • Complying with company Health & Safety standards
  • Always wearing correct PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Keeping machines and work areas clean and tidy

Success Factors

  • Successful completion of training within the production section, in line with SOP instructions

(No supervisory responsibilities assigned to this role.)


Experience & Competencies

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Manually dextrous
  • Well-organised
  • Possesses a strong sense of urgency and time management
  • Dynamic approach to completing practical tasks efficiently
  • (Preferred but not essential) Previous experience as an industrial operator

Technical Proficiencies

  • Ability to excel in a manufacturing/assembly environment
  • Diligent work ethic with adherence to standard procedures
