About the Role
This is a full-time, remote Operator / JV Partner role focused on growing and managing a pre-built SMB SaaS product in the mortgage and property services space.
The Operator / JV Partner will:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, refining the value proposition and managing the product roadmap.
- Coordinate with technical resources to implement updates and enhancements.
- Design and execute go-to-market strategies and lead generation funnels.
- Manage partnerships or reseller relationships.
- Track key performance metrics (e.g., revenue, churn, customer acquisition costs).
- Optimise customer onboarding, support, and retention processes.
- Work closely with the founder/leadership team, contributing to strategic decisions and participating in revenue share based on product performance.
Responsibilities

- Maintain and scale the B2B/SMB SaaS product with a focus on mortgage and property sectors.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth, pricing adjustments, and competitive differentiation.
- Act as a key liaison between non-technical customers and technical teams (developers, partners).

Product & Strategy
- Develop a clear value proposition for the product and communicate it effectively to stakeholders.
- Prioritise product features and enhancements based on customer feedback and business goals.
- Align the product roadmap with commercial priorities and market trends.
Go-to-Market & Sales
- Design and execute marketing campaigns, including digital paid ads, content, email, and SEO-optimisation.
- Optimise conversion funnels and track performance via data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with partnerships/affiliate networks to expand reach and revenue streams.
Financial & Operational Management
- Manage marketing and operations budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and ROI.
- Monitor KPIs (revenue, churn, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, retention).
- Conduct thorough financial forecasting and present findings to leadership.
JV Partnership Obligations
- Participate in revenue-sharing agreements tied to product performance.
- Represent the product at industry events, investor meetings, or public discussions.
- Provide input on strategic decisions, such as acquisition targets, investor presentations, or potential partnerships.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work alongside—and bridge the gap between—the leadership team, freelancers, and third-party vendors (developers, marketing agencies, etc.).
- Foster open communication across remote teams for alignment on goals and challenges.

Essential
- Demonstrated experience in operating or scaling a SaaS product or online business, preferably in B2B/SMB markets.
- Strong skills in product strategy, go-to-market planning, and basic product management (e.g., feature definition, feedback gathering, prioritisation).
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels (paid ads, content marketing, email nurturing campaigns, SEO).
- Ability to analyse and optimise conversion funnels and lead-generation workflows.
- Comfort working with data analysis and KPIs (e.g., customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, churn rate).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex SaaS concepts for non-technical B2B customers.
- Strong time-management and project-management skills, whether managing projects end-to-end or ensuring deadlines in a remote environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for commercial acumen—good with risk assessment, profit margins, and identifying market gaps.
- Willingness to participate in a revenue-sharing model and share operational risk for growth.
- Comfort collaborating with remote teams, freelancers, and third-party vendors in a lean environment.
Nice-to-Have (Advantageous but Not Mandatory)
- Experience or familiarity with the UK mortgage, property, or financial services sectors.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior involvement in joint-ventures, partnerships, or revenue-sharing structures.
