Company Description
Glasseslab is an established Independent based in Bromley, Beckenham & Greenwich. We are curators of style, bringing together Independent eyewear designers and our own in-house brand Cubo. Combining comprehensive clinical expertise with a love for eyewear styling we aim to provide every customer a personalized enjoyable experience.
Role Description
This is a full or part-time position for an Optical Assistant located between Bromley & Beckenham. You will be responsible for:
- Assisting customers with eyewear selection
- Conducting preliminary tests
- Scheduling appointments and lens recommendations
- Ensuring customer satisfaction
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Supporting the team in all daily tasks
- Merchandising and replenishing stock to maintain store presentation

You will be working alongside an experienced Manager and Optometrist with further training for progression.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Strong ability to build customer relations and rapport
- An interest in fashion, eyewear trends, and healthcare
- Good foundation knowledge in Optics
- Ability to work well in a team and be independently self-motivated
- Experience managing business social media accounts and confident creating engaging photo and video content is desirable
