About the Role
As an Optical Assistant, your role is to bring Specsavers’ energy and expertise to life in store. Working alongside our team, you’ll leverage your knack for customer service to create a welcoming environment—both for guests and colleagues.

What We Need
To get started here, you should have:
✅ At least 3 months’ experience working in an opticians* (retail, dispensing, or front-facing customer roles count) ✅ A keen passion for customer service in an optical environment
✅ A minimum of experience is a must, so make sure yours aligns with this!
Desirable Extras
We love applicants who have:
- Fast-paced customer service experience (pharmacies, retail, hospitality, etc.)
- Background in optical/audiology (or “ears” business contextual knowledge)
- Basic familiarity with optical/audiological industry-specific jargon
