Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Optical Assistant who loves creating engaging Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok content. You'll spend part of your week delivering exceptional patient care and part creating videos, taking photography, sharing patient stories (with permission), showcasing frames, and helping grow our online presence.
This is a unique opportunity to combine patient-facing optical work with content creation and marketing in a role where your ideas will genuinely make an impact.

Responsibilities
You'll be involved in:
- Delivering outstanding customer service.
- Assisting patients with frame selection and styling.
- Dispensing spectacles and supporting the clinical team.
- Taking photographs and filming short-form videos.
- Creating Instagram Reels, Facebook posts, and TikTok content.
- Showcasing new eyewear collections.
- Capturing behind-the-scenes moments within the practice.
- Sharing patient success stories (with consent).
- Helping plan and schedule social media content.
- Contributing fresh marketing ideas to help grow the practice.

About You
You'll ideally have:
- At least one year of experience as an Optical Assistant.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A creative eye for photography and video.
- Confidence using Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Experience creating short-form video content.
- Strong written English and attention to detail.
- A positive, enthusiastic personality.
