Employment Type: Full time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: Days

  • Hours per Week: 45
  • Schedule:
    • Saturday: 08:45 – 18:15
    • Tuesday: 08:45 – 18:15
    • Wednesday: 08:45 – 18:15
    • Thursday: 09:45 – 19:15
    • Friday: 08:45 – 18:15

Your Role

About the Role

Optical Managers oversee operational efficiency across the clinic, ensuring:

  • Effective team leadership for Optometrists and Optical assistants
  • Compliance with clinical processes and procedures
  • Achievement of sales targets through forecasting and department performance reviews
  • Resolution of customer queries seamlessly

What You’ll Bring

Must-haves:

  • A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC (General Optical Council)
  • Commitment to achieving CPD (continuing professional development) statutory points requirements
  • Confidence in delivering high-quality customer and patient care
  • Proven leadership experience in dynamic optical environments
  • Capacity to drive results while meeting departmental targets

  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure scenarios
  • Resilience and adaptability to thrive in fast-paced environments
