- Wednesday: 08:45 – 18:15
- Thursday: 09:45 – 19:15

Your Role

Optical Managers oversee operational efficiency across the clinic, ensuring:
- Effective team leadership for Optometrists and Optical assistants

Key responsibilities include:
- Clinic management to optimise customer service flow
- Ensuring shop-floor harmony
- A collaborative partnership with an Optometrist to coach and develop staff
- Demonstrating leadership in the fast-paced settings of Asda Opticians
Additional expectations:
- Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage time efficiently to handle multi-faceted demands
- Strong coaching skills given responsibility for team development
What You’ll Bring
Must-haves:
- A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC (General Optical Council)
- Commitment to achieving CPD (continuing professional development) statutory points requirements
- Confidence in delivering high-quality customer and patient care
- Proven leadership experience in dynamic optical environments
- Capacity to drive results while meeting departmental targets
Desirable aptitudes:
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure scenarios
