Role Description
The Optical Sales Specialist at the Monmouth Street Store is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role involves:
- Welcoming customers
- Understanding their eyewear needs
- Guiding them through frame selection with product knowledge and style advice
- Supporting optical fittings in collaboration with qualified professionals
- Managing sales transactions
- Maintaining visual merchandising standards in the store

Daily tasks include:

- Handling customer inquiries
- Ensuring stock is organized and replenished
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive store environment
The role may also involve:
- Supporting in-store events
- Providing feedback on customer preferences
- Helping to train new team members on MONC’s brand values and product range
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain product features clearly and engage with a diverse customer base.
- Proven Customer Service experience, with a focus on building trust, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming in-store experience.
- Retail Sales skills, including product knowledge, upselling, and accurate handling of transactions and point-of-sale systems.
- Organization Skills, such as maintaining orderly displays, managing stock, and keeping the store environment clean and presentable.
- Training experience or the ability to support the onboarding and development of team members.
- Interest in eyewear, fashion, or design, with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
- Previous optical retail or luxury retail experience is beneficial but not required.
