Position: Optometrist
Location: Stanway Sainsbury’s, Essex
Salary: Up to £65,000 + performance related bonus + benefits + free parking
Hours: Full time or Part time
Experience: You must be a GOC registered Optometrist
We're looking for an Optometrist, with vision and purpose, to join Specsavers in Stanway. We are expanding our team; Become part of something brilliant.

What you’ll be doing day to day
- Using your passion for your patients and your profession, deliver a memorable customer journey
- Bringing your vibrant personality into the day to day running of the practice – setting high standards to ensure everything runs professionally, upholding the highest possible standard of clinical care, selecting the best products for each customer
- Build trusted, longstanding relationships – not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community
- Listening to our customers providing the right, up to date information at all times

Our Leadership Team
We have 5 Optometry Directors within the store, collectively providing 75 years of optometry experience. We are very proud of our Pre-Reg programme and have enjoyed many years of success; our Principal Optometrist has 15 years’ experience.
What we’re looking for
Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, we are searching for someone who shares our store’s ethos. Someone who wants to grow, develop and offer exceptional customer care along the way. We want a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, that isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach and who is keen to get involved and build rapport with the rest of the team. In summary, we’re looking for a skilled resident Optometrist to join us, be part of the team and assist in driving our practice forward.

Colchester is in the East of England within the county of Essex. Situated close to the coast in East Anglia it is on the border with Suffolk and around 50 miles North-East of London. Colchester can be reached from London in under an hour by train from Liverpool Street Station, or by taking the A12 if driving. It is close to both London Stanstead and London Southend Airports as well as Harwich International Port for Ferry Travel.
