Optometrist – Refractive & Cataract Surgery
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available
On behalf of our client—the UK’s leading private provider of laser eye, premium intraocular lens, and cataract surgery—we are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join their highly experienced clinical team in Milton Keynes.
This is an exceptional opportunity to advance your clinical career outside of traditional high-street retail optics. Working in a state-of-the-art clinic, you will collaborate alongside experienced eye care professionals, including Ophthalmologists, to deliver advanced clinical services.
The Role
No two days are the same in this dynamic clinical role. You will play a crucial part in managing specialised patient pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specialist Consultations: Conduct thorough pre- and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients.
- Clinical Collaboration: Provide vital clinical support to world-class Ophthalmologists.
- Eye Examinations: Perform comprehensive Essential and Advanced Eye Examinations using market-leading diagnostic technology (including Carl Zeiss and Johnson & Johnson Vision).
- Patient Journeys: Guide patients through their surgical journey, providing expert advice and outstanding clinical care.

What We Are Looking For
- Registration: Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- Clinical Ambition: A strong interest in refractive surgery and lens care. (Full specialist training will be provided by experienced clinicians).
- Team Player: Ability to thrive within a multi-disciplinary team alongside surgeons and clinical support staff.
