Specialist Optometrist
We are recruiting for a successful and rapidly expanding private clinic who require an experienced and professional Optometrist to join their specialist clinical assessment service, working across their Central London and Surrey clinics.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to move beyond traditional retail optometry and work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team delivering structured visual assessments as part of comprehensive medical evaluations. The role requires exceptional clinical accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to high professional standards.

Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed visual and ocular assessments, including visual acuity, colour vision, and visual field testing.
- Produce accurate clinical records and contribute to important medical decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals to deliver a high-quality assessment service.
Requirements

- GOC-registered Optometrist with at least three years' post-registration experience.
- Strong refraction and visual field assessment skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Experience in occupational health, medico-legal, regulatory, or specialist assessment environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
