As an Optometrist here, you’ll be the go-to for eye examinations and contact lens services, helping us keep the nation seeing 20/20.
You’ll work with the store team to deliver high-standard clinical care and customer service to meet both patient needs and business objectives. And of course, you’ll be a key part in creating a warm and friendly environment for our customers and our team.

Specsavers in Dumfries are looking for a forward-thinking Optometrist to join their well-established store. Our experienced team use the very latest clinical technology which allows them to improve patient outcomes.
At Specsavers in Dumfries, we have a clear-sighted vision to transform eye health in our community and as our next Optometrist you will have the opportunity to provide a first-class experience to every one of our patients. Many of their optometrists are home grown and development of their team is at heart of what they do, so if you are looking to become IP qualified or become a partner yourself, the management team will help you achieve your goals.

What’s on offer?
- Up to £65,000 depending on experience, inclusive of bonus
- Up to £10,000 golden hello (T&Cs apply)
- Up to £8,000 relocation assistance (T&Cs apply)

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need to be registered as a member of the General Optical Council (keeping this up to date).
