Optometrist – Specsavers Stockport

We have an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist to join our well-established and thriving team at Specsavers Stockport. With a strong team of 13 Optometrists, this role offers a genuinely supportive, collaborative, and positive working environment where clinical excellence and commercial awareness go hand in hand.

This is a full-time role, ideal for an Optometrist who enjoys being part of a large, experienced team and is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care while contributing to the wider success of the business. We actively support clinical development, encouraging our Optometrists to grow their skills, confidence, and professional interests.

The Role

As an Optometrist at Specsavers Stockport, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused eye care. You’ll carry out comprehensive eye examinations, provide tailored recommendations, and work closely with the wider clinical and retail team to ensure every patient receives an exceptional experience.

  • An Optometrist who delivers thorough, high-quality eye examinations and confidently interprets clinical findings
  • A patient-focused approach with the ability to communicate advice clearly, professionally, and warmly
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating within a large, supportive Optometrist team
  • A balanced clinician who values both clinical excellence and commercial performance
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up to date with industry advancements
  • GOC registration and relevant professional qualifications
