Your Role & Responsibilities
As an Application Developer specialising in Oracle eBS & Oracle Fusion Cloud, you’ll bring your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to our team, contributing to the design, development, and support of application solutions that meet client requirements. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, learning and growing as you help create reports, interfaces, data conversions, and enhancements using Oracle tools such as Designer, Discover, Forms, JDeveloper, and Reports.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Design, develop, and support application solutions in Oracle eBS that meet client requirements
- Utilise Oracle tools (Designer, Discover, Forms, JDeveloper, Reports) to create reports, data interfaces, conversions, and enhancements
- Develop, re-engineer, and integrate complex application components and reusable objects across multiple platforms
- Deliver high-quality, efficient, and maintainable solutions aligned with industry best practices and Oracle eBS standards
- Collaborate with functional stream consultants and business users to resolve issues and facilitate communication
- Prepare data migration outcome reports, ensuring strong written and verbal communication skills to produce high-quality deliverables and follow up with stakeholders
Note: This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Further security checks (National Security Vetting - NVS) may apply, including: Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV)*.
Required Education & Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Technical & Professional Experience (5+ Years Required)
- Hands-on experience in Oracle eBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud, with a focus on data migration
- Proven track record in eBS to Fusion transformation programmes
- Strong knowledge of the Oracle Cloud Data Model
- Minimum 3 full Oracle Cloud Implementation cycles
- Experience with Oracle-Specific Data Migration Tools, including:
- FBDI, ADFDI, Oracle Cloud REST & SOAP APIs for loading and validating data
- PL/SQL for extraction, transformation, and reporting
- Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and managing client interactions
- Strong client-facing communication and leadership skills
- Travel to client sites as required

Technical Skills
- ETL expertise: Migration of data from legacy Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM
- Data mapping, cleansing, and validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Troubleshooting and reconciliation of data migration issues
- PL/SQL development for data processing and reporting
- Proficiency in Oracle Designer, Discoverer, Forms, JDeveloper, and Reports
- Experience with SaaS HCM applications, including:
- Core HCM, Absence Management, Performance, Learning & Development, Recruitment, Project Resource Deployment, Strategy Workforce Planning, ODA, and Journeys (Payroll)
- Knowledge of HCM security requirements and domain architectures
Soft Skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to learn independently and collaborate with technical developers, functional teams, and business users
- Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement
- Commitment to step-by-step documentation of processes, mappings, and validation steps
