Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant (Time & Labor / Payroll)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: 6 Months
Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Clearance: BPSS/SC Clearance Required, UK Passport holders/ILR Only
We're currently looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant with strong expertise in Time & Labor (OTL) and Payroll to join a major transformation programme on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering a large-scale Oracle Cloud HCM implementation, working closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and implement Oracle Cloud HCM Time & Labor (OTL) and Payroll solutions.
- Design and configure time entry layouts, templates, and complex time calculation rules.
- Configure time consumer sets and processing profiles.
- Deliver and support OTL to Payroll integrations.
- Integrate OTL with Project Costing / Project Ledger.
- Gather business requirements and produce functional design documentation.
- Support configuration, SIT, UAT, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver effective Oracle Cloud HCM solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM Time & Labor (OTL).
- Proven Oracle Cloud Payroll configuration experience.
- Expertise in:
- Time entry layouts and templates
- Complex time calculation rules
- Time consumer sets and processing profiles
- OTL to Payroll integration
- OTL integration with Project Costing / Project Ledger
- At least one full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementation as a Functional Payroll / OTL Consultant.
- Experience across requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), go-live, and hypercare.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing cycles.
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation is highly desirable.
- Experience with payroll reconciliation and costing.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong documentation skills, including Functional Design Documents (FDDs), test scripts, and process flows.
- Proven experience working on large-scale transformation programmes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly within complex timekeeping scenarios.
